No time for Seoul searching..

Not yet anyway.
Day 1. In typical fashion, I was packing up to the minute I was out the door. Ok, I packed my daypack in the car, but that doesn’t count. What matters is that l don’t think I forgot anything. l hope!

Ten and a half hours on the plane passed by quickly. The Asiana service was very good, and I had a whole row to myself. I wouldn’t mind flying with them again. Upon landing, a comfortable -3°C was refreshing! The Incheon Airport to Seoul express train was easy to catch (yay, student discount!), but then I got lost in Seoul Station trying to find the appropriate exit to get to my accommodation for the night. This was my first experience using Airbnb. The place was conveniently located and my host, Noel, was kind to drive me to the nearby Lotte Mart to pickup some supplies (read: snacks and sunscreen. Yes, sunscreen, there are still hours of sunlight in winter).

Unfortunately, as it was late(ish), the wind had picked up, and I had to repack my bag, there wasn’t much time to really explore (hence the title). But luckily I could see the nice scenery on the train back to the airport in the daylight. I’ll definitely be back one day!
